The industrial landscape of Mongolia is dominated by large-scale mining and construction, where hydraulic lines are subjected to extreme temperature fluctuations, ranging from -40°C in winter to +40°C in summer. This thermal stress leads to rapid rubber degradation and premature cracking in standard hoses.
Currently, the market relies heavily on imported systems. However, there is a critical gap in providing hose and hydraulics that can maintain flexibility at sub-zero temperatures while resisting the abrasive dust characteristic of the Gobi Desert.
Local operators often face significant downtime due to the lack of specialized high-pressure fittings. The shift toward more durable, reinforced rubber compounds is essential to reduce the frequency of emergency replacements in remote mining sites like Oyu Tolgoi.
